On Monday 11th December it is planned to polish the tiled floor of St Peter's Church. The floor will be cleaned in the morning, and in the afternoon the plan is to have 2 teams of 2 people to apply the emulsion polish. Janet and Chris Parrish will lead the 2 teams, and would like 4 volunteers to help – 2 from 2pm to 3.30pm and 2 more from 3.30pm to 5pm. The work is quite simple, just spreading the polish evenly with a mop, which will be supplied. If you are interested, please speak to Janet or Chris or ring 10395 442275. For the rest of the congregation – please delay visiting the church until Tuesday 12th December – there will be notices suggesting you do not come in on the Monday.
