Drop in for Coffee, tea, etc., company, Every Friday.
10.15 - 11.30am
in the Peter Hall
Every 4th Sunday of the month (except December) at 12 noon in the Peter Hall. The next lunch is October 22nd 2017.
We usually get between 30 and 35 people but there is always space for more. We are served a delicious roast lunch prepared by Mandy Butcher and her team, followed by a homemade desert and coffee. We are indebted to Di Bagshawe who runs a popular raffle and also comes in early to help me set up. A faithful group of volunteers sell and check tickets, serve and clear lunch. The lunch costs £6.00 and is served at 12.15pm.

including Women’s Christian Fellowship
Meets every 2nd Tuesday
We have a varied programme. Recently two new members have been enrolled and long service certificates have been awarded to 12 members their membership varying from 20 to 63 years. Members are engaged in various projects both in the Church and the Community. Twice a year we have a stall at Rendezvous raising money for M. U. projects overseas and 'Away From It All' (A.F.I.A.) which provides holidays for needy families. Last year in Devon 26 families were given a holiday at Haven Holidays - a company who gives us a generous discount. At Christmas as well as providing 'shoe boxes' for children in Moldova we also include 'family boxes' so that some parents also receive a little gift.

Praying together at St Peter's
St Peter's Prayer Group
Meets for prayer at 9.30am on the first Tuesday each month in the Lady Chapel for half an hour. There are about 8-10 who turn up and each session is led by one of the regulars. Each leader chooses their own theme or subject matter, but the general idea is to pray for own parish and the RMC, for the sick and bereaved, and for any event that is coming up. Also for the clergy and church leaders and then for the wider church in the world, our Mission Partners, David and Heather and then for the world in general, the various crisis points, and any recent natural disasters and so it goes on. There is never enough time to cover everything! It is all very informal and free-running. It is not an exclusive group and any in the congregation who are interested will be made very welcome.

Loaves and Fishes Lunches
With the help of a monthly draw we are able to send our surplus income to charity. This is achieved by the help of all those who give up their time to cook, lay tables, greet, serve and give lifts. If anyone feels they would like to help with any of these tasks they would be most welcome.
